About Brooke
Brooke Raider is a compassionate and experienced licensed mental health counselor who enjoys working with patients of all ages, from children and teens to adults and seniors. Many of Brooke’s patients are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, or life transitions. Others face behavioral concerns, parenting or caregiving stress, or relationship challenges. With warmth and sensitivity, Brooke encourages and supports patients in developing tools and coping strategies to strengthen communication skills, emotional expression, and overall wellbeing. She is equally skilled in helping children and teens maximize school success as she is in supporting adults and seniors navigating career challenges or seeking fulfillment and purpose in retirement.

Brooke holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and has over four years of experience providing therapy to patients from diverse backgrounds. Her counseling style is empathetic and patient-centered, creating a supportive environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered. She incorporates evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help patients reframe unhelpful thought patterns and develop healthier, more productive behaviors. Brooke also integrates mindfulness, strength-based, and solution-focused approaches to promote resilience and lasting change.

In addition to her clinical work, Brooke brings a strong foundation in education to her counseling practice. She earned a Master of Science in Secondary Education from the University of Pennsylvania and spent over 10 years teaching middle and high school students. She later completed an Educational Specialist degree in School Counseling and worked as a school counselor at both the elementary and middle school levels. During this time, she was involved in peer mediation programs, bullying prevention initiatives, diversity training, and the development of 504 plans to support students with a wide range of diagnoses.

Brooke’s unique combination of clinical expertise and educational experience allows her to take a holistic, collaborative approach to therapy—supporting patients as they work toward meaningful growth, improved relationships, and overall wellness.
